Here’s what you can expect during our hiring process:
Apply Online
Search the available opportunities listed on our website here. Choose an opportunity and apply directly online. Upload a resume during the application process if you have one.
Brief Phone Interview
If we believe you’d be a good fit at Snyder Village after we review your application, a member of our team will reach out to you via phone for a short call to talk about your experience and the desired role.
In Person Interview
If we determine that your skill set and experience would suit the role, we will then invite you to the Snyder Village campus for an in-person interview to get to know you better. This will be an opportunity for you to meet staff, view our campus, and ask us any questions you may have.
Job Shadow
For some positions at Snyder Village, you will get the opportunity to job shadow a current employee. This will help you gain a better understanding of the day-to-day duties of the job and help you envision yourself in the role.
Offer to Join the Snyder Village Team
After completing the interview process, you can expect to hear back from us regarding the position. If you’re chosen for the role, you’ll receive a verbal offer. We may require some additional information from you to help move the process along and make it official.
Background Check & Screenings
To help ensure a safe working environment for all our team members, any new hire will be required to pass an IDPH background check, and short physical, and a drug screening. These will be administered or scheduled by the HR department at Snyder Village.
Welcome!
The HR department will help get you scheduled for your first day of employment at Snyder Village. Shortly after starting, you’ll be invited to attend an orientation at Snyder Village to learn more about our mission, our campus, and your job role. We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
