Snyder Village is pleased to name Christine Coppenbarger, MSW, LSW, as the new Assisted Living Director. In this role, Coppenbarger will provide leadership for Assisted Living and oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility. Snyder Village Assisted Living features 65 private studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments designed for residents who wish to keep their independence with some level of assistance. Beautiful accommodations, dining services, and planned activities are highlights of the community. Specialized care is also offered in its Memory Care program.
Coppenbarger is a licensed social worker with a MSW concentration in mental health. She is a current adjunct professor at Carl Sandburg School of Nursing teaching Biomedical Ethics. Prior to joining the Snyder Village team, Coppenbarger was the director at Courtyard Estates Assisted Living in Kewanee and formerly served as a Case Manager/Discharge Planner at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
The positive reputation of Snyder Village and her love for seniors made Coppenbarger interested in pursuing this new role. “Snyder Village is a beautiful campus with a fantastic reputation,” says Coppenbarger. “I look forward to working with my team of hard-working people who are dedicated to making and keeping Snyder Village a great place for our residents to live and for all of us to work.”

Coppenbarger and her husband, Tom, have two grown children and reside in Washington, IL.
